The high-rise action group stopped meeting in 2019 due to a lack of engagement. As part of the new Housing Regulator Standards, we are looking at how we engage with tenants and leaseholders. The prior engagement groups had dwindled in numbers, and we acknowledge that meetings are not the only way of hearing the views of tenants.
In the next few months, we will be setting up some focus sessions, door-knocking and surveys to understand the issues and priorities of people living in high-rise blocks. This will help us understand how residents want to share their views about housing and help us hear a wider group of voices. We will bring the results of this work to the Area Panels in June 2025 |
